I have always had a passion for photography, but back when I was a kid, film was reserved for special occasions like holidays and family vacations, so I didn’t take pictures daily. It wasn’t until high school when I met Lorna and the digital era of photography was starting, that I realized photography was something that could become a daily part of life. Lorna had a blog where she posted the pictures she took daily and it inspired me so much that I saved and spent a whopping $500 on my first digital camera: a 5-megapixel Kodak Easyshare. Because of Lorna, photography became a daily part of my life, and eventually my whole life. I am so honored to still have this beautiful friend in my life and to get to document and celebrate her wedding and all the beautiful moments leading up to it.
This session is the product of a joint vision Lorna and I had. We drove from her home in Tacoma, Washington to Alder Lake early one morning to both have privacy and catch that good light. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect session. This is truly what my dreams are made of, and Lorna has inspired me once more to focus more on making women feel beautiful. I would love to start making this style of boudoir a more common occurrence, for those who are interested. Thank you, sweet Lorna, for being a constant inspiration and most beautiful friend.
